I saw this restaurant when looking what was nearby and decided to give it a chance as I wanted to try a new Puerto Rican restaurant. I ordered piña colada, and mofongo filled with churrasco. The piña colada did not taste how it should, instead it tasted like a different frozen drink, something maybe of oat or vanilla but far from piña colada. As for the mofongo it was really good! It was a little salty but still great. The churrasco was amazing and quite frankly I would say it was the best churrasco I ever had. It beat all restaurants on flavor and how juicy it was. Cooked to perfection. Chef's kiss. My mom and dad ordered chuleta kan kan and a Caesar salad which they shared. Both ordered wine to drink. The wine my dad ordered he liked, the wine my mom ordered she received roscato instead of moscato which she didn't like, instead changed order to bottled water. The chuleta kan kan my dad said was the best he ever tasted and my mom loved it as well. He even wants to go back and eat it again lol. The Caesar salad was amazing and one of the best we've all had, it even had a different dressing probably a house made dressing which tasted incredible! The waitress on the other hand was very forgetful. She did forget orders and confused wine and admitted she knew nothing of wine. She also went back to the table a couple times to confirm orders etc. All in all I give it 4 stars because even though the food is amazing, they lack in their drinks. They definitely need to up their game with their drink options, they need to do better on the piña colada and offer an option to add bailey's in it, maybe offer frappes, better wine options such as moscato, etc. I would definitely come back, the food is amazing but I feel if they had better drinks this place would be even better! The atmosphere is already cute it's a little nice place, though it's small it does give off a nice vibe of being in Puerto Rico. If you want to eat good authentic Puerto Rican food I definitely recommend anyone to eat here.

Back in 2019, my cousins brought us to Miguelo's. Actually, twice in one week. Back in town 4 years later and this was the only place I wanted to come to. The food, service, price....all on point. I ordered the Mofongo stuffed with shrimp, devine! My brother ordered the Mofongo stuffed with chicken, he finished it all! My mom ordered Bistec Encebollado, she finished it. Can't remember what my aunt ordered but she finished her meal as well. This is our must visit spot whenever we are in town. Definitely worth the stop

Wepa!!! Easy solid four or five for about as authentic Puerto Rican eats you're going to get on the mainland and with enough cervesas, you'd almost think you're on the island! Everything was delicious and both the tostones and alcapurria were hot dropped; something I really appreciate. Arroz con gandules was so good I ate all of it and shouldn't of. Isn't someone's abuela doing the cooking? Tastes like it up in here. Basically, heartwarming island comfort foods here. Miguelo's came highly recommended and they were right!
